Bryce Canyon National Park
Just under 2 hours drive from the lodge will take you to Bryce Canyon National Park. The drive itself is an adventure as you journey up the valley through Zion National Park. Bryce Canyon, land of the hoodoos, which are bizarre shapes of colorful limestone rocks caused by the erosional force of frost-wedging that gives its unique geological appearance, is close enough for a day trip that should not be missed. There are many hikes ranging from easy, moderate to strenuous that you can enjoy. Please visit the NPS website: http://www.nps.gov/brca/index.htm for more information regarding the Bryce Canyon National Park.
